求助：申请Reception 的Prefer school被拒，怎么办？急-----

昨天收到了小学申请的OUTCOME RESULT。我们所选的离家最近的三所小学都是没有位置的，现在不知道该怎么办才好？之所以选择这三所学校，主要是学校很好，而且离家近，都在1000米以内。其他的学校都相对远些，而且我不会开车，学校很好而且接送也不方便。我想请问：
1.孩子会不会有书读呢？
2.如果申诉，是怎么样的程序，什么样的理由才能申诉成功呢？

The offer process will continue until the start of term in September, we will contact you if your child can be offered a place from the waiting list at a later date.

1000米很远好学校排不上的，信里面没说派到哪家吗？

:(楼主，我 也是这样的情况。研究了一下，申诉是很难成功的。因为BY LAW, RECEPTION, YEAR1, YEAR2, 每个班是不可以超过30个人的。我们离第一近的学校是630米而CATCHMENT AREA是540米，现在在WAITING LIST上NO.12. 估计是没有什么机会了。政府是会给你分配学校，给一个又远又差的学校给你。我是坚决不让我女读的。我打算去找校长，如果不行，今年就不读了，明年搬到学校附近，再重新申请。外在环境实在重要。

到该上学的年龄不上学，council要找父母的麻烦的。

问题是我现在离这几所学校真的很近了，没有办法再搬了！可能是我今年申请晚了的缘故，所以没有位置？真不知道是什么原因。按照你的研究，您说如果申诉用什么理由会更好些呢？因为我目前在国内，还真不知道申诉的流程和所需要的资料，求助------------------

所谓的乡下就是有山或者有水的然后一个社区就是百来户人家住的乡下，呵呵。

不知道LZ住sutton哪里。感觉sutton小学校好多阿，而且招生规模一般都60+，怎么可能一个都没选上。。。。

结果和申请早晚没关系，除去需要特殊照顾和已有有兄弟姐妹在申请学校上学的申请之后，只看距离远近。你那个离的1000多米一点都不近，我家附近的小学今年招生最远的一个距离是201米。

council分配给你的学校，你可以推迟入学到你女儿5岁的生日（10月），之后就必须送去学校了

Children must receive education:

from the start of the term after their fifth birthday; and
until the last Friday in June in the school year in which they turn 16.
The LA educates some children out of school. You are also allowed to educate your child out of school, but you must give them a ‘suitable education’ (see ‘May I teach my child at home?’).

If you don’t register your child for a school, and you are not giving your child a suitable education out of school, the LA may serve you with a ‘school attendance order’. This will name a school that your child must attend. It will also explain your right to apply to another school if you don’t want to send your child to the named school. You will be breaking the law if you do not follow a school attendance order, unless you can show that your child is receiving a suitable education somewhere other than at school.

我在CARSHALTON，当时只选了这三所小学，结果一个都没有，怎么办啊？

最近的那所学校要400米，如果最近的都没有录取，那其他的岂不是更远呢？怎么办？
