My LO is allergic to cow’s milk, wheat, peanuts, eggs (blood test >=3), and etc (blood test<3).

As long as there is no wheezing and difficult breath, s/he should be alright. A little bit drowsiness is normal after allergic reactions. If you have asthma/allergy history, be very careful giving your LO anything that can trigger your asthma/allergy. When you are introducing any new food to your LO, make sure you give very little and monitor for a while before giving her/him a proper portion.

You might want to carry some Piriton with you wherever you (LO) go. Be very careful with seafood and nuts, which are common allergens to cause anaphylaxis. You probably will need paediatrician diagnosis before trying any nuts on your LO.

Don’t worry. We are all human, and can make mistakes. My LO fell out of his pushchair before because I forgot to buckle it up properly; we ended up going for a ride on ambulance to A&E {:5_145:}. I am now paranoid with his pushchair buckles… sigh…

For now, stick to the food s/he has had. Then you can gradually introduce some low-risk foods. Carefully monitor what happens after eating certain food, and record everything s/he eats. Try one at a time and ideally for three days.

Remember all allergic reactions are different. What we said on this thread might not happen to your LO. i.e. it can be more or less serious. Do avoid nuts at any time at this age (I read dad’s trial in the previous post; that’s not good!).

You will soon be referred to allergist/paediatrician for allergy test, and dietitian. Listen to professionals is your best option. Before that, if you have any problem with feeding your LO with ‘all-free’ food, I might be able to help.

Also, for everyone (or LO) on this thread has minor allergies. This website below can also shed some light on the issue and potential treatment. Do remember that if the allergic reactions are potentially serious (e.g anaphylaxis), please DO NOT try as it will need professional supervisions. Allergy is a potential life-threatening condition, we must not take it easy.

At the moment, my LO has no eggs, cow’s milk, nuts, coconut, and wheat in his diet. So we have our shopping list for his own version of ‘all free’ diet (free from all foods he is allergic to).

You will need to decide what food you want to exclude from your LO’s diet. Then you can plan for your shopping list (that’s what I might be able help). The most important thing is to give your LO a balanced diet (i.e. calcium, protein, and other nutrients intake) with as much variety as possible.
