为什么英国房子的bathrooms里不安电源插座？

发现好多新建的房子任何一个卫生间里都没有插座。这是英国的标配还是我看的sample太小？

不安插座有什么特殊原因吗？为了安全还是省成本？

安全原因，如果需要安装那需要特殊的防水插座，而且需要离水源比较大距离。不过刮胡刀插座应该是有的，它也可以用于电牙刷。

谢谢龙哥。在美国，厕所都有插座。难道是英国电压高（美国110），危险更大？

主要还是为安全因素考虑，Due to the presence of the water,there is an increased danger of electric shock. 在wiring regulation当中，卫生间通常分为zone0,1,2,以及outside zones. 其中一条requirement就指出Socket-outlets are not allowed within 3 metres of zone1 (the edge of the bath or shower basin).

卫生间里要插座，干啥用呢？ 排气扇， 电毛巾杆，电线都是隐藏的，开关在卫生间门外。 就算是加电热马桶盖，也可以做成固定电线墙内 ，不需要插座。

刮胡刀和吹风机插座是唯一卫生间需要的。 这个位置也是镜子边上比较高的地方了。

俺没有专业知识。感觉上电热水器最危险，似乎不应该安装在浴室里。有没有什么合理解释啊。

还是那种插电动牙刷，刮胡刀的不算？

我一直想弄个电暖冲水马桶盖的，可惜没有插座，只能作罢。

必须是真的，我之前提到卫生间区域通常分为zone0,1,2,和outside zones,在zone0当中所有的switchgear 和accessories都是None allowed. 在zone1中，only 12v ac,或者30v ripple-free dc SELV switches,the safety source installed outside the zones. zone2中，only switches and sockets of SELV circuits allowed,the sourse being outside the zones, and shaver supply units complying with BS EN if fixed where direct spray is unlikely. 在outside zones 中，accessories,SELV socket-outlets and shaver supply unit allowed. socket-outlets allowed 3m horizontally from boundary of zone 1.
通常家庭中我们说的是socket-outlet，是指230V(13A）.而SELV指的separated extra low voltage, extra low voltage 指的是not exceeding 50V ac 或者120V dc. 而bathroom的shaver socket 通常 with a 230V output are separated,but not ELV, just LV.

The regulations allowed sockets in the bathrooms,but socket-outlets allowed 3m horizontally from boundary of zone 1 (zone 1 is limited by the vertical surface circumscribing the bath tub or shower basin) . 通产来说是zone 3. 你可以用吹风机在zone 3 ，supplied from a fused connection and protected by 30mA RCDs. 另外提醒的是，不要把吹风机硬插入 shaver socket ，the transformer inside may not be large enough to supply the load.
