申请入学的application deadline以前搬到你想上的学校就可以了，一般application deadline是1月15号，不过你经常看看council网站，一般6月份就有下一年申请如何安排的信息了。

成龙大哥，你好。 按照上面的网址查了一下，比较满意的两个都是教会的学校，一个是Roman Catholic，一个是church of England. 请问是不是只有去教堂的人才能申请啊？我和老公都不是教徒。
教会的学校任何人都能申请都能去上，没有宗教的可以申请，其它宗教的（比如穆斯林）也可以申请。
但在分配学位的时候，很多教会学校有教友优先的入学原则，有没有教友优先你到学校网站和伯明翰council网站查admission policy。
谢谢成龙大哥，我看了去年两个学校的Admission criteria.都说 If there is oversubscription within a category priority will be given to those children living closest to the school. 这就是说我们要尽量搬到离学校近的地方是吧？
另外，在分配学位的时候，会优先考虑第一志愿吗？还是说三个志愿是平行的？
伦敦是平行的，别的council你要看当地的政策。
很多教会学校都有教友优先原则，所以这个一定要搞清楚，不然搬学校旁边也机会很小。
教会学校有两种，Voluntary Aided Schools和Voluntary Controlled Schools
Voluntary Aided的学校St Mary’s Catholic Primary School完全是学校自己决定入学录取不受council的控制，这个学校的优先权是给教区内受洗过的孩子，然后教区外受洗过的孩子。。。。。。

Voluntary Controlled Schools的学校，比如St Peters CofE Primary School，它们的入学council来管理，有些学校有教友优先原则。

下面是伯明翰council的admission policy，有几所学校是教友录取完了用空位才按照距离录取其它孩子。
- Looked after children (in public care)
- Children (siblings) with an older brother or sister already at the school who will still be in attendance at the time the sibling is admitted to the school.
- Children whose parents have made a claim on denominational grounds in that they desire a Church of England school education and for whom this is the nearest Church of England school from home.
- Children who live nearest the school.
教会学校一定要看清楚录取原则，有些是教友优先，有些是距离优先，两种都见过。
