Bristol has topped the list of the most liveable cities in Britain, according to a new survey.The city had the highest disposable income growth and one of the lowest unemployment rates out of all the cities that were looked at.

Edinburgh and Cardiff came a close second and third respectively, the Scottish capital scored highly with the second highest average salary at £24,628 and the lowest unemployment rate.

The study took the 12 largest cities in Britain and assessed them on several factors, including salary levels, unemployment rates and life satisfaction. Bradford and Sheffield were at the bottom of the list, however they scored well on life satisfaction.

The study was carried out by MoneySuperMarket, who gathered national data from different sources and made their calculations based on those figures.

The most liveable cities in the UK:

  4. Liverpool

  5. Leeds

  6. Manchester

  7. London

  8. Belfast

  9. Glasgow

  10. Birmingham

  11. Sheffield

belfast我比较有评论权，工资真心低，就4大而言当年我入行的价格，同一公司下belfast比英格兰的起薪就低n多，原因是当地living cost低可是我没觉得阿，大头是房租当然跟伦敦没法比，但和伯明翰之类的大城市比并不便宜，然后吃的方面tesco啥的超市全国连锁价格都一样啊亲！

哇咔咔竟然有bradford！！以前住过N年+现在还在上班的城市！！巴人巨多，马路上对向停车聊天，在bradford开车必须要注意否则会被吓死！但是多年的摸爬滚打小女子也练就了一身功夫超车挤车不输巴人门太多！！不过巴人店真心造福人类，中国菜巴人菜应有尽有夏天还有巨大巨甜的大芒果~
tips 在巴人的城市上班下班路上买菜回家然后住在周边的安静小镇，生活安逸又低成本~

补充下原来在bradford租房子的时候一个one bedroom flat的房租是350不算bill，伦敦的JMS不要太嫉妒。呵呵~~
