我一直觉得签证本身也要是连续的吧？我觉得新的fresh entry clearance和前一个签证到期不能差超过28天。不然移民局的电脑里就会有这个gap吧？大家如何认为？

我会偏向于认为英国的签证的连续性是首要的。否则十年不是太简单了吗？比如有人在前一个签证到期前一时刻离开英国，而在179天后拿另一个新的签证回英国。这179天里此人和英国没有任何关系啊（前一个签证早到期了，后一个还没有被grant），难道能把这么长的时间也算到英国居住的十年之中吗？这和有长期签证但因为特殊情况离英国探亲或工作179天是不一样的。个人理解，大家如何认为呢？

你是在原签证有效期内离境回国，然后在半年时间内持新签证入境回到英国，属于连续的，一点问题也没有。楼下说有问题的都是胡说。

departed的意思是你在签证到期以后逾期滞留，然后出境，这个就有28天的限制。 像你的情况，签证到期之前出境，然后申请新的签证回来，只要在6个月之内回来英国，你就100%没有问题。对于那些不懂的人，说的一堆猜测。。。直接无视吧。。。。。

肯定是没断开的，但是5年之后的移民政策又有谁能知道会变成什么样子呢？ 没脱欧当然好，如果脱了欧盟不确定因素又会多很多？ 所以说楼主还是不要担心这些有的没的了，好好学习吧 。

正常离境不算这个gap 除非超过180天
