现在的签证11月18日到期，10月23日寄签，11月1日收到信件让去邮局按指纹，11月2日去按了。
然后收到老板的邮件，问什么时候能拿到签证，我说我也不清楚，有啥消息我会告诉她。可是老板一定要个准日子，信上说要近8个星期，这个也太久了阿。
我最近都没有出门的打算，所以我倒是没啥，不过我老板急，在11月18日之后到收到新的签证期间，我还能继续工作吗？有啥条文吗？谢谢大家~~
如果是新工作，应该不能！但你没有换工作，我也不知道了。。。
You can work. You reserve all the right during the time of your visa application. Just need to show your employer the letter which says your visa application has been received and under consideration.

Show your boss the letter from Immigration Office which says they are processing your visa. It is a proof of applying for a visa, and it should states in the letter that you can continue to work or study until the results come out.
