请问如果买一套buy to let的房子,可以代签租约吗

请问如果买一套buy to let的房子,我老公的名字有贷款,可以我代签租约,算做我的收入来报税吗,我还没永居不能加我名字,等拿到永居才能加名字,英国的法律怎么规定的呢,这样可以吗,有人指点一下吗,多谢多谢

这个FORM 17可能是针对两个人都有名字的, 楼主应该不是房子的JOINT OWNER之一. 我个人理解.

If you jointly own property with your spouse or civil partner and want to change the split of income from it for tax purposes use Income Tax form 17.

针对这个问题我也问过会计师, 他说不可以用当做另外一方(不是joint owner之一)的收入. 我有在怀疑是不是他不想做事情. 哈哈

The property is registered under your husband, but this doesn’t means that he has sole ownership for the property. Generally speaking, as a married partner, you have half share of the property. You can ask a solicitor to draw a legal document to redefine percentage of ownership. 50:50 is quite normal, you can do 99:1 if you so wish, but I think you may have difficult to convince HMRC about it. The easiest thing would be 50:50 divide, and you will save some tax even it is not all.
