大家好。我有个关于十年永居的问题咨询大家
我2008年9月21号（签证8月21日开始）到英国，我理解没错的话之后合法10年应该是到2018年9月21日。
内政部写说10年ILR可以提前28天申请，也就是2018年8月24日(没错吧?).
我现在签证到2018年8月21日到期，也就是差2天到24日。
在这种情况下，大家可以给点建议吗？
我看过文件和帖子后，感觉最好方法是21号先申请一个其他的签证，然后在24日马上转换（vary）到永居申请？
不知道这样是否合理？如何合理，那个转换（vary) 是不是有一个单独的表格（我没找到），然后递交新ILR申请？

目前的签证可以extend 吗？
可以但是有风险，因缺一份关键文件（必须在现签证结束前拿到，不能补）在催，但是今天都礼拜四了，所以感觉下周一之前很可能拿不到，也就是无法续。
所以在考虑不能续签目前签证的情况下 该如果直接申请10年ILR。。

查一下可以从什么时候开始算。有可能可以从签证日期开始算再提前28天，但你到底英国之前这段时间（对你来说是一个月）要计算在leave中。
从内政部的文件来看感觉是从入境那天开始算10年的？
请问如果您看到可以往前算28天的文件是哪份？我可以去看一下谢谢！
这个是5年的guidelines，不过我觉得十年的方式也是差不多的，可以参考一下
感谢感谢！我看到这个五年的，按照这个五年的文件好像是可以按签证而不是入境来算的。
但是呢，十年的文件里没有明说，但是一直在上下文里说“RESIDENCE”和“ENTERS THE UK"之类之类的。 然后结合HO网站上和大家在论坛的讨论，感觉10年的要从入境开始算。。
当然，所以想问有没有人看到过准确的10年文件名写可以从英国境外申请的签证日期开始算的?
是可以以这种形式very的，我有个朋友就是这么做的。但是先提醒下移民局内部的very签证类型会非常非常慢……耗个大半年都说不定。楼主最好有心理准备

Eligibility
You must have permission to stay (‘leave to remain’). This can be in any immigration category, or a combination of different immigration categories.

我的理解那个第二条是“stay” 不是“enter”，比如那种先入境然后申请庇护，或者转换签证类型之类的。
所以我早上给内政部打了电话，他们两个不同的工作人员告诉我说如果是入境签证，要从入境（enter）日期开始算，在英国本地得到的签证才可以从签证开始日期(stay)算。
然后5年 和 10年永居 起始日期算法是有可能不一样（5年会有180天那个）的。
以上是电话的内容。
非常感谢您的回复，内政部工作人员说把28天算到头上的话，之后就不能提前28天申请了。。所以这个28天貌似只能用一次。。

目前看来好像只有这个办法了。。请问您朋友的案例是多久下来的？有6个月吗？

8月21是楼主得到permission to enter uk，不是得到permission to stay in uk。
非常非常久……首先是等了一段时间，然后通知移民局very签证，然后差不多6-7个月都一点消息都没有，也不知道有没有very成功什么的……后来就找了律师一直催一直催，律师电话也打了邮件也写了反正各种方式用尽但是移民局都不给任何消息说有没有very成功。反正大概快1年多了才姗姗来迟了信说同意very过去，然后又等了好长一段时间，永居才批……
应该是vary吧 
苹果的小伙伴们看了书所以知道那两条算十年的标准并不是可以任意选取的。正解LZ在13楼更新了

我看来决定要vary了。那么问题来了， 我看一圈文件，只有一个“VALID”的申请才会被3C／3D保护，也就是说可以在决定没下来之前合法居留。
目前很多签证都需要一个赞助机构SPONSOR，没有sponsor的话，那个申请就不是VALID，以及然后3C／3D保护就不成立。。
所以，大家有没有经验哪种签证选项最容易VALID。。。（我不需要他批准）。
就比如不需要SPONSOR那种。。我的理解是PRIVATE ROUTS？比如PARTNERSHIP。。。
在座的大家有经验或者建议吗？ 谢谢！！
