西班牙领事馆申请申根签证，学校应该会提供需要的材料的。

楼主去办西班牙签证就是申根签证了啊！如果你之前计划去其他的申根国家，那申请时把这个也一起带上，也许签证就能长一些，不用再跑一次。
我们一般都是去度假前的half term办签证的。

自己办的话就是在西班牙签证中心办签证。办的就是申根签证。之前不知道学校旅游可以免签证，挺合理的。长知识了

那不是签证，是免签证证明，学校给British Council 填个表就成。

We issue the List of Travellers (or Visa Waiver Form) form in the UK, for school trips to countries in the European Union (EU) for pupils on the trip who are of a non-EU nationality.
The List of Travellers form allows the pupils to go on the trip without getting a visa.

我女儿学校明年7月组织去法国几天，我也在看这个List of Travellers，感觉是基于欧盟法规。所以，我担心英国如果硬脱欧，这条途径就作废了。

If the UK leaves the EU with a deal
Pupils from third countries who are resident in the EU, EEA and Switzerland will continue to be able to travel to the UK under the List of Travellers scheme until at least 2021.
What pupils need to show at the border will not change. Pupils with their own travel document must be included on the List of Travellers form. Pupils without their own travel document must also have photographic ID or a recent photograph attached to the List of Travellers form.
To be acceptable as a travel document, the form must also be authenticated by the responsible authority in the appropriate member state to confirm the pupil’s residence status and their right to re-entry.
If the UK leaves the EU without a deal
The List of Travellers scheme will not end immediately but may be phased out during 2020. More details will be provided shortly.
