British Airways and BAA have confirmed that the first phase of the move of additional longhaul flights into Heathrow Terminal 5 will take place on 5 June.
The services to be moved in this first phase are:
* New York (JFK only)
* Abuja
* Bangalore
* Beijing
* Cairo
* Cape Town
* Lagos
* Phoenix
The flights above will continue to operate to and from Terminal 4 until 5 June.
Some longhaul flights already operate to and from Terminal 5. These are:
* Hong Kong
* Johannesburg
* Los Angeles
* Miami
* San Francisco
* Tokyo
* Vancouver
All other longhaul flights to and from London Heathrow from 5 June will operate into and out of Terminal 4 until further notice.
