我们看上了一套房子，什么都很可心,于是下了offer. 昨天看flooding report上标识我们要买的房子在medium risk flood zone,离high risk就一两米远。我们自己花钱买了报告，说以前没有flood过，之后75年当中有可能。我们也去问了3家同一条街的邻居，也都说没被淹过。现在真的是不知道这么办了。大家谁有经验，请帮我们出出主意！谢谢了！

没有研究过你那个地方的flooding history，所以无法给意见，你研究一下历史上flooding的情况吧。

Does it specify which type of flood risk? There are normally three categories: river, coastal and surface water (e.g. Rain water). Sometimes it checks underground water/ river as well. For the first two, you can check the risk level and history online. If there is no history in your area, the risk may be calculated based on computer modeling in which case you may want to consider how likely it is going to be. There other two are quite common especially those areas along river Thames and if u r living above ground level normally not much of a problem.
In any case, check if your building insurance cover this risk ( for leasehold) flat or get a quote from a insurance company (for houses) to gauge.
所谓75年一遇就是1.5%的flooding risk level，只要有保险公司肯保，没什么问题的。

很多保险公司給保，价钱高几十镑，能接受。周边也在risk 里的房子也是在市场上卖的很快，还都不便宜。
但我就是担心过几年我们卖的时候会不会因为这个原因不好卖。
现在搞得我怕这个房子阴天下雨就淹了。真是扒层皮

我们查了，River and coast 都是250 年和1000年有risk, 但surface water, 就1 in 75years。现在天天害怕下雨。
