大大你好，就我的情况我想向你请教一下，我现在持PSW签证将到12月份到期了，想续学生签ACCA不知道行不行？来英国9年多了，之前签证历史是语言+普通学术证书+2个硕士（一起3年）+现在PSW2年，我没在英国读本科，现行的5年学生签限制是不是只累计之前degree level及以上的学生签时间，这样我的情况是不是还可以继学生签，想签ACCA可以吗？请大大解答一下，万分感谢！！！

普通学术证书是指的business/IT diploma之类的吗？其实是不是都不要紧，因为此case可以从两个角度来看

- ho如今的釜底抽薪式的学生签证年头限制是3+5，既分开限制又有合并8年的限制
- academic progression也决定了读acca需要选定一定数量的paper才能够某个level，但paper数量多了需要签证时间就长了，所以sponsor需要认真计算此学生剩下的可得到的签证时间是否能cover整个课程，cover不了的话，他们会拒绝发cas的。
所以你的情况很难再签学生签证的，能申请到公费phd的话还可以试试看，否则还是看看能不能走其他route吧，good luck

是指什么？会计师acca，精算师，金融分析师那些证书的吗？
google或者wiki一下不就知道了嘛，通俗来说就是非法律专业毕业生考律师证的考试

是否PHD可以超越那个5年的年限，但是不能超过那个8年的年限？
还是说PHD可以忽略3,5,8的年限，但是单独独立有一个8年的年限呢？

我的理解是对应below degree的是3年，degree level的是5年，但还有一个加起来不超过8年的的规定，这里面也有细节，已经有一个phd后就必然不可以再超过8年学生签的总数，但第一个phd似乎可以不受5年的限制
If the course is at degree level or above, the grant of leave to remain （entry clearance） the applicant is seeking must not lead to the applicant having spent more than 5 years in the UK as a Tier 4 (General) Migrant, or as a Student, studying courses at degree level or above unless:

所以每个人可以用来读phd的时间就因人而异了，比如看之前用了多久读ug，读什么专业phd，不清楚就咨询uni admission office，他们不确定就会联系ho的。
