和你在哪里拿学位问题不大吧，关键是UKBA要的材料你都有就行我觉得。
我看了那么多帖子还没搞清楚，是不是只要博士后（上述八类的）在英国连续工作5年（我说的连续指的是比如中间换过一次工作，第一个合同2011.1-2013.6 第二个合同2013.7-2016.1这样）就能申请PR了？（Tier2签证）
两三年之后搞个lecturer，什么事都没有了
原因很多，如果老板没经费了或者怎么样都可能
大学不像公司，公司有时候还会考虑你的价值给你安排其他工作来留下你，大学没经费你就走人吧
第一点，5年后申请ILR受不受35K的限制要看你的COS上四位数的SOC code, 不是职位名称。最近SOC code 更新了，自己去UKBA网站上看看吧。
第二点，PhD level也要做RLMT，只是不用在Jobcentre Plus的网站上打广告，但需要以其他要求的方式打广告。 除非是下列情况之一，就完全不用打广告：
1.Job is on the Shortage occupation list
2.Existing employees and switching immigration categories
3.Postgraduate doctors and dentists in speciality training
4.You also do not need to complete a resident labour market test if:
1）the annual salary package for the job is £152,100 or above; or
2）the migrant will be sponsored as a doctor in speciality training and their salary and the costs of their training are being met by the government of another country under an agreement with that country and the UK government; or the migrant has been issued a scientific research award or fellowship by an external organisation; and
that award is not transferrable and the role would not be filled by anyone else if the migrant withdrew from the project; or
the award or fellowship has ended but you are continuing to sponsor the migrant so that they can continue to undertake the same research

All jobs advertised to settled workers must be advertised using 2 of the permitted methods. In many cases this will be:
mandatory advertising online through the Jobcentre Plus Universal Jobmatch service (for jobs based in England, Wales and Scotland) or through Jobcentre Online for jobs based in Northern Ireland (unless one of the exemptions below applies); and
1 other permitted method.
The only jobs that do not need to be advertised in Jobcentre Plus are:
jobs in the creative sector where the code of practice states that advertising is not required because the migrant will be making an additional contribution to the UK labour market - see the creative sector codes for more information;
jobs where there will be stock exchange disclosure requirements;
‘milkround’ graduate recruitment exercises;
pupillage positions for trainee barristers;
jobs which fall within the ‘PhD level’ SOC codes listed in the guidance for sponsors;
jobs where the annual salary package will be £71,000 or more;
jobs in the NHS where the vacancy has been advertised on the NHS Jobs website between 19 November 2012 and 1 October 2013; and
jobs for which you do not need to do a resident labour market test (see above).

税后29K税前超35K啦
同为tier2博士后，可以肯定Tier2 可以续签多次的。本人就是1年半工签+Tie2 3年+6个月+3个月。最近换学校，继续Tier2面签，上星期五刚签过了，不过还不知道给多长, 生物信息卡还没寄过来。这样我Tie2就已经续签过3次了。
好久没来 如果我没记错的话 是T2 工签中间间断不能超过28天
只要能连续搞到博后T2签证，百分百能拿永居
好久没来，虽说是政策随时能变，但是据报道，好像这个T2转ILR的政策 会至少持续到2018年，所以必然影响从我以后的人了

首先lecture不是那么容易找的 还有N多在英国待了很久的人呢 人家语言上比我有优势多了
另外lecture很多年薪也不会超过35000的，而且好像不太确定lecture不属于那个豁免工种。那么意味着是否必须T2 年薪高于35000p的讲师才能有资格ILR
新政策下T2转ILR真的很难了 一是年收入限制，二是employer必须UKBA注册的，不像以前，实在不行随便找个小的不正规的公司自付工资，都可以运作。。。。

Tier2的新政策是从2012年4月之后实行的，如果你是之前取得的T2签证，那么适用旧政策
新政策里明确规定，T2不能无限延长下去了，最长干6年就要离开英国一年的冷冻期
确实 同意 很多时候 项目结束了 没有新的funding就得走人 残酷啊
我是2o11年5月来英国，Cos是中歺厨师，5434，到2〇16年5月能免35千年薪永居要求吗？属短缺工种应不用吗？
你到达的时间早于新政策的实施时间，所以不受6年工作时长限制
但是好像受35000限制。
不过你让雇主给你开个高工资，然后你背后补上不就完了么。就是多纳些税
不用翻墙吧，先过来再说吧没准用不了一年你就把导师炒了，这边工也没那末难得，找个公司你的资历拿35000应该不难，可就是不如博后轻松呀
我的专业偏理论 没啥实际用途，工业界不好找位置啊。
而且我发现在英国这边工资 高于35000的真心不多
而且雇主需要证明该工作在欧盟内都没有合适的人 才给T2签证 太难了。。。。。有什么工作能让全欧盟内没有人合适的人做，才从国外调入人呢 对吧 呵呵

T2可以分多次续期，只要能找到位置，干下去，拿PR不是问题
