情况是这样的
宝爸 是五年tier one 转永居
妈妈是12年十月转的配偶 所以要安七月新政策五年 而不是两年 所以这次就没有和爸爸一起申请
但是觉得宝宝应该是可以和爸爸一起申请永居的 宝宝是这里出生的
结果被拒了
被拒理由是 除非爸爸妈妈一起申请永居不然宝宝没有办法申请永居
宝宝只有下次妈妈永居时候一起申请
好奇怪啊 一个人永居就不能带宝宝嘛
按理说爸爸永居后宝宝都可以直接入籍了 但是却还要等几年永居？
也就是是2012年7月后的配偶 不但配偶不能和主申请人两年永居 连宝宝都不行？

不懂帮顶。不过我听英国同事说，孩子在英国，父亲是没有任何权利的，孩子就归母亲。我给我家孩子申请入籍的时候，我都没出孩子爹的材料，直接就跟我的永居办的入籍。说件好玩的事，我老公姑姑家住在法国，法国国籍，他们全家搬来英国定居，当时孩子是跟这父亲一起过来英国的，结果被英国海关一顿的问，说是怀疑，他们夫妻有可能闹离婚，父亲要带着孩子逃跑:L，最好好像是给孩子母亲打了电话，才让进英国的。

在英国，孩子都是属于政府的。当然要仔细衡量了。。。。。
据说现在是孩子都跟母亲了，如果母亲永居孩子就能永居，跟父亲不行。

楼主人家HO网站上有明确写到，12年7月以后的PBS dependant 孩子要申请永居必须父母都永居了才符合条件，你老婆还没永居，孩子当然会被拒。
孩子除非是在英国出生的，否则不可以直接入籍的。

严格遵循最新的法律来吧，你这个申请是有问题的。自己没有看仔细。
mm，宝宝的永居是必须父母都永居了才能永居，如果有一方没有永居，无论父母，都不能永居，签证类型和长短随没有永居的一方。比如说如果没有永居的夫妻一方是以spouse visa在英国的话，那孩子就只能是spouse的dependent。或者如果有有一方是永居，另一方是tier2，那宝宝就只能签tier 2的dependent。我最近也是吃了这个亏，我是永居，孩子爸不是，孩子也被拒签。

aren’t married or in a civil partnership

到底other parent要不要settle?的确好模糊
