这句里面的between them是指二个人合起来赚27k,还是每个人赚27k呢?不是很确定

因为里面举了一个Cameron的例子,如果是两个人的收入的话,这里就直接假设他太太没有收入了,所以又觉得好像是指一个人的收入

这时候我就想,究竟(5)的151k是指一个人的收入,还是一个家庭household两个人的收入。
如果是指household的收入,那原文不应该这样来类比的,
以Cameron一个人的收入和一个家庭的收入比,这挺勉强,也挺没意义的。
这时候,我重读了原文n多遍,一直只是说household,并没有说household income, 或income of household,
因为第一栏(1)是1 adult,是指1个人,而(2)-(5)是指household。有些统计为了好比较(都是一个人),(2)-(5)的统计范围是以家庭为单位,但是里面的数字是指一个人的收入,这样可以和(1)的1个人的收入可以有个清晰的对比。
如果原文作者不是加入了Cameron这个不恰当的比喻,我就不会问这个问题了。
我唯一觉得有说服力的一句就是这里面的between them,

我就想究竟这between them是指一个人的收入,还是二个人加起来的收入。我刚开始不是很确定,但静下心来觉得还是指二个人加起来的收入,between them就是指不管你们两个人怎么分,加起来是这个数就行了。
