About the calcium, yes. I did pay attention to the nutrition content. Because rice milk is a lot more common on French market, I was able to find various calcium fortified rice milk. And in fact, there are a few different brands of rice-based baby formulas here, too. I don’t think it is very common in the UK.
But, as you say, it is better not to give. Luckily, I only gave him in the past 2-3 weeks, mixed it with hemp milk just to encourage him to drink hemp milk (we got the light blue cartoon one, which tastes rather blank for him). I may have to cut down my son’s rice intake, too. Challenging! Now, the only choice left for him is hemp milk. Though I might cut down most of milk anyway, just give calcium supplement instead.
