i found an ad in school said a guy wanted to sell a one year old iMAC G5
with specifications like:
17-inch widescreen LCD with 1440x900 resolution
1.83GHz Intel processor with 2MB shared L2 cache
512MB memory (667MHz DDR2 SDRAM)
160GB Serial ATA hard drive
Slot-load 8x double-layer SuperDrive
ATI Radeon X1600 graphics with 128MB GDDR3 memory
Built-in AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth 2.0
and few softwares installed…
the price’s set to $1500 australian dollars, the market value i believe is around $2000 AU
but i am really hesitated whether to buy it or not? the quality of a 2nd hand computer could cause people disasters…
could you guys offer some suggestions??

there are no known issues with iMac Intel, or few.
I'm not familar with AUD, but if you think the value is good, get it and you'll hv a good start.
just to remind you that you may want to upgrade the ram to 2Gig, or at least 1 gig, for Intel Macintosh
personally, for new macer,buy the 1.83 mb rather than this.
买了二手机，就要考虑加买 apple care, 那个也不少钱…
慢，好像有点货不对板，iMac G5 不同于 intel inside
而且 intel iMac, 除了开发机和工程样机，都只有6个月旧。
最好问 seller 拿 serial no. 上网查查出厂日期。
幸亏没一时冲动买下了， 多些各位高手相助！！！！
