估计案子应该是按照自杀来结案。并没有其他嫌疑人。

没有结案，但是也没其他嫌疑人了。 不是入室打劫，不是家暴情杀。 对唯一嫌疑人也no further action了。
死刑调查都需要很久的，国内有个案子，岳父杀了女婿全家，结果女儿出具谅解书，岳父竟然一审没被判死刑，后来死者亲属申诉，再审才判了死刑，这个案子牵涉3条命呢，证据确凿，花了好几年才最终宣判

有些案子要一直有人盯着感觉才会有人不停调查，不然一些案子就会遗忘，尤其是时间久远的。最近新闻里听到一个案子是1970年的，现在还在调查，应该是有人一直追踪督促，不然早被人遗忘了。

We know both A and B are 37-year-old. We also know A knew the deceased. But we don’t know if A and B are the same person, at least not explicitly state in the news and reports so far.
