I have been to the Tennyson Trail for 1 day (12miles), and just came back yesterday from the Limestone Way (26 miles, 2 days). I went with my other friend and we were both girls. So I developed map-reading and crisis managment skills as well as experience of walking as a team.
I think 12miles on average per day is about the length for health and safety concerns. Although my body could carry on walking, my knee was injured a bit after 2 days. Also if we lost our way there’s a bit of time to get to the destination before it gets dark (the day before yesterday 7:50pm me and my friend lost our way on the edge of a cliff, it was pretty dangerous if we couldn’t get downhill before it’s dark).
Only making suggestions here, don’t know how to register to take part in??
If we could start on Saturday or Finish on Sunday, it would be great because I have to make the most of my holiday allowance (taking a industrial placement now)
Really looking forward to join you !

I thought the same when I wrote it. Because I want to suggest not to walk too long like 40miles! It would really be unnecessary and dangerous.
The Limestone Way was great, although in terms of views not anything near the Tennyson Trail on Isle of Wight I went for the 1st time. It requires some map reading skills because not every part of the route has a clear route. It rained a bit over last weekend with strong wind, and it’s colder than South of England e.g. London or South Coastal area. I strongly not recommend you to go there alone. Me and my friend were two people, reading the map as frequently as we felt for, and we lost our way, we were in trouble. So don’t go there alone. Also, if you want some fab scenary, I would give the Tennyson Trail 9 out of 10 and the Limestone Way 6 out of 10. They are different, but I still think you can rate the scale of beauty.
去北京徒步吧。可以徒完2环徒3环，然后接着是4，5环，最后是6，7环。
然后再去爬长城！ 下来后去渤海湾徒一下， 然后再去大兴安岭徒一下， 还有长白山天池。。
然后沿着内蒙古徒到西藏去，然后下来到新疆，在去徒一下云南大山，最后爬上泰山祭天庆祝成功，，，！！！ 最后大家各回各家各找个妈！！
至此，长征活动圆满结束，大家名扬四海。！！！！！

最好一路上都别剃头,这样一路走下来至少外表上就和青年艺术家没区别了

对了,你在哪搞到LIMESTONE WAY的地图的?是地形图还是交通图?如果有等高线什么的话,那就不太容易迷路了

我在Waterstone买的Active Map，非常准的地理野外地图，有等高线，不然我就从悬崖上掉下去了哈哈。我还买了Lonely Planet的书，上面有这条路的介绍。 我怎么报名啊？？
