是不是2.2 就可以解决GPS的问题了？ 如果是的话，我就明天签一个了
DESIRE已经有GINGERBREAD的ROM出来了。。。
用一个小软件，叫GO CONTACT sync 就可以。前提是你先把自己的联系人导入EXCEL或者OUTLOOK。
有人在说刷了新版KERNEL后问题完全消失。但是我不确信。因为我之前6个手机都是一样的问题无法靠软件解决。。。

btw, YAO always ignores the gps issue. 
我不常用 gps，而且我还有一个 htc 老电话的 gps 很抗用，它曾今在美国大沙漠50度抗了十几天的。。。（只有一次温度过高关机过。。。用车内空调降温半小时才重新启动了）
yao, I cannot find the uk range firmware from samfirmware.com, its original version is: I9000BVJM5/BVJM1/RAJM3? Do you know where I can download it?
xiaohexiaohe, if Yao cannot find the original firmware, maybe I have to ask the orange custermer service to change another SGS, is the replaced one a new or returned phone?
after updaing to froyo, my phone in most time has no signal, only in city centre.

you can call orange to change a new one, as you can say, after upgrade to 2.2, the phone has no signal at all, and you dont know how to downgrade…

according to the rom you request, I can see your SGS is on a totally different model, which is not i9000, but i9000b. So I think that causes your problem.
My god, is i9000b, what is the difference?

I cannot told orange that I have upgraded it to 2.2 as orange has not released its official firmware.

刷了你给的orange系统后，结果卡在开机画面进不去了。 最要命的是三键模式不管用，连接不上odin了。我怀疑是csc不匹配的缘故，启动不了系统，所以卡住了。
我一直按着recovery mode 的三键，让它不断重启，等了7.8次后我就接着一直按着download mode 的三键，然后进去了。太开心了，第一件事就是快点update 2nd bootloader，然后刷了你原来的2.2系统，我搞怕了。为什么三星的这个东西这么难搞，以前的htc，还有iphone也没有这么难啊。。。。太不稳定了。

How to confirm or find out my phone is i9000b not i9000? I signed contract with orange uk through upgrade. I do not know how i can ask for the replacement since I have bought more than 2 months already without any insurance.
the original rom you have requested, is for i9000B.
just make your system crashed. then call orange, say kies upgrading failed. that’s all. ask for repair or a new one.
他们跟我说更换的都是BRAND NEW的，但其实我觉得不是。因为送过来的只是一个盒子，里面装着光光一个机器，没有电池，背壳，记忆卡，什么都没有。然后你必须留下原来的电池，背壳，记忆卡。我觉得换的机器都是REFURBISHED的。但是跟新的没什么差别，看不到任何使用痕迹，而且屏幕和摄像头等地方都贴着胶纸，看来像新的一样。
如果解决了问题我倒也可以接受，关键是换了6个机器后发现全部都是GPS定位不能。于是后来就打电话要求更换机型，给我提供了HTC DESIRE。但最开始还搞错了，给了个二手的给我，害我又打电话过去说了一通，最后来的这个是全新的零售版，原装没有拆封。
现在不是说新出哪个KERNEL会解决GPS问题吗？我其实很怀疑，因为如果要解决早就该解决了，不可能机器上市后拖了8个月9个月，忽然出个新软件FIX就全都好了。。。
