亲们，俺在填first passport application form,其中父母信息一项说如果both parents were born overseas, I need to supply information of the grandparents’ birthday, date of marrige etc etc.
没见过比这更二的问题 
，4个老人的生日我爸我妈都记不清了，两个已经去世了。那生日和他们的结婚日期填个大概可以吗？
你自己记得住就行。比这个更2的是你的见证人也得证明这段信息属实。

不用填grandparents info， lz显然没仔细读那个guidance小册子
为啥不用啊，如果父母都在国外出生，应该是要填的吧。

已经读过很多遍了，白纸黑字写得很清楚。能大概提示一下guidance上说的关键词么？
guidance上有个表格，列出了各种申请需要填写的内容和准备的材料
那个只是说不需要"Parents’ documents" 和 “Grandparents’ documents”，不需要相关的证明文件。
但是出生日期，地点和结婚日期还是要在表格里填的。

红字的意思不就是提供your mother’s parents (aka my grandparents) and father’s parents (aka my grandparents)的信息嘛,说得很明白啊。
按照手册和表格不管是父母和祖父母的信息都是要填的。但是他没有填最后也拿到护照了。
好像是这样的，虽然跟我已经没关系了，但刚才还是又看了下那个小册子，似乎是两个都要提供的，parents & grandparents。
恩纳估计这个GRANDPARENTS信息PASSPORT OFFICE也不是很在意，他们可能也觉得自己二。

借LZ的帖子上来唠叨唠叨。我也遇见了相同的问题。现在是外公外婆的信息无从查寻，更不知道哪年结婚的~。我准备写到另外一张纸上，说明事实。不知道就是不知道，干嘛把问题复杂化，还得背日期？~
这项申请条目着实不符合规划入籍之后护照申请人。我们好像不像英国人一样这么讲FAMILY TREE的。毕竟祖父母辈的就算还在世，也过了100岁了~他们在向导册里也没有说明为什么。很困惑~

如果单照这段的字面解释，your mother’s “or”
parent 1’s parents 这个or 在这里就是grandparents的可以忽略啊，并不是说 your mother’s “and” parent 1’s parents
所以不用填爷爷奶奶那辈了。
