大家好，

谢谢上次帮我解答问题，

我今年Phd毕业，毕业为止已经待满了八年了

请问还能签doctorate extension scheme么

我的理解是不能

因为T4的guidance里面：

In all cases, if you have already completed a course leading to the award of a PhD in the
UK, the grant of leave you are seeking must not lead to you spending more than 8 years in
the UK as a Tier 4 (General) Migrant, or as a Student.

DES签算是T4
所以我不能再申请了

Doctorate Extension Scheme 应该不包括在8年限制里面， 楼主可以查看 Tier 4 Guidance 第 109：

The time that you can spend studying at or above degree level is limited to five years
unless: • you are on the Doctorate Extension Scheme

我觉得没有关系吧，虽然隶属于T4但毕竟不是study

但是不确定如果之前签过psw的是不是还能拿T4 doctorate extension了
