请问大家不是永居可以向Job centre 申请Maternity Allowance 吗？ 会以因为拿了福利影响以后的签证吗？
因为在打工的地方没有工作足够长，所以公司不给Maternity Leave Pay 让我自己和Job Centre, 给了SMP Form, 请问如果我申请了对以后签证有影响吗？本人现在拿的是Tier2 depended Visa.

应该没问题的。找到一个网站解释哪些福利不属于public funds。我的理解是下面那些福利是工作相关的，只要你有工作都可以领取，不属于public funds。你签证上应该有写no access to public funds，但是statutory maternity pay不属于这类。

retirement pension
widows benefit and bereavement benefit

maternity allowance
Healthcare and education also do not count as public funds – although your immigration status may affect whether you are eligible for them.
