想知道T2 cooling-off period 到底是咋回事

最近想从T4 dependent转成T2, 因为T4要到期，同一雇主，但是雇主只能暂时给6个月的合同。读policy的时候发现这一条，不是很懂。是不是说一年之内不能申请两次T2啊？如果这样的话，我先拿半年的T2,之后申请extend或者换雇主会受影响吗？请大神帮忙解答一下，挺急的。谢谢啦

  1. Please note that if you have had a grant of leave for entry clearance, leave to enter or
    remain as a Tier 2 Migrant at any time during the 12 months immediately before your date of
    application, unless you were only being sponsored in Tier 2 (as recorded by the Certificate
    of Sponsorship) for a period of 3 months or less, you will not be able to apply for further
    leave under Tier 2 unless one of the following applies

T4dependent好像得离境申请T2。坐看后面的答案

你看的这个段落，标题明确的写着“Application for entry clearance or Switching into T2G ”， 也就是只针对境外申请入境签或者境内从其他类别转工签的时候才有这个cooling off period的制约。境内续签工签是没有cooling off period的。

哦哦，现在才分清extend跟leave to remain的区别。能再请问下工作合同少于一年的情况对申请T2有没有影响呢？如果工作合同只是几个月呢？谢谢啦

不需要，T4 Dependant是陪伴签里面唯一一个可以在英国境内转工作签的。但仍然要按照restricted COS 的要求，要做RLMT，受年度配额限制。
