最近被公司雇来协助办签证的律师烦死了。
我已经完成一年硕士，并拿到学位证明，T4签证明年1月底到期。跟公司签了今年12月开始的半年合同，一周37.5小时，但那个律师说在办完T2之前，我一周不能超过20小时。下面是律师写给HR的信
As *** has finished his course, he can work for*** but only within certain limits. The first limit is on his visa itself, which you will see under the entry clearance stamp states that *** cannot work for more than 20 hours per week. Further limits are also contained in the Immigration Rules which I set out here for completeness. *** must not:
a) fill a full-time permanent vacancy (other than on a recognised foundation programme);
b) be self-employed; or
c) be employed as a doctor in training (except on a recognised Foundation Programme), a professional sportsperson, coach or entertainer.
我仔细看了UKBA的网站说term time不可以fultime，现在都完成学位了明显不在term time了。只是，UKBA也没有说fultime的每周工作时间是多少诶！
下面是UKBA上面说的
If you are on a course at or above NQF 6/QCF 6/SCQF 9 at a UK higher education institution, or a short-term study abroad degree programme at an overseas higher education institution, you are allowed to:
work for up to 20 hours per week during term time;
work full-time during vacations;
do a work placement as part of your course;
work as a postgraduate doctor or dentist on a recognised Foundation Programme; and
work as a student union sabbatical officer for up to 2 years.
这个律师是不是太没业务水准了！
