从今年四月份起，Tier 1、Tier 2 和 Tier 4 都提高了 Maintenance requirements，鉴于UKBA在这方面卡得非常严，大家务必注意现在就要维持银行的存款。
Tier 1 Entrepreneurs：£3,100 for entry clearance applications、£900 for leave to remain applications
Tier 1 (Investor) and Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) ： exempt from the maintenance requirement
Tier 2 and Tier 5：£900
Tier 4 (General)：£1,000 for each month (inner London)、£800 for each month (outer London)

其实一直没弄明白 好多人都说Tier4学生签证，以伦敦外为例:要求银行卡里存够600存够28天就够了（新政策是800） 但是上面明确要求已经在英国的学生只要2个月的生活费就够了，这个意思是600磅存够28天 另外600只要在你卡里（一共1200）不需要存够28天吗？还是必须1200（现在是1600）都要存够28天呢？
都是要求两个月生活费的资金，存够28天才符合要求的。
一个月生活费没有这种说法。
这个具体链接在哪里啊？？？对于TIER 1 GENERAL的extension有要求吗？
从今年四月份的意思是如果我在五月份申请extension，必须有连续三个月900英镑的存款？我刚刚看了下官网，Tier 1的guidance没说增加到900？anyway，政策天天都在变。真叫么法。
四月之后的申请都要实行新的标准。
在英国境内进行的正常签证申请包括续签属于 leave to remain，从四月开始的要求就是 900镑，所以我发帖让大家提前做准备。现在还没实施所以 Tier 1 Guidence 还没变化，在 UKBA 网站的 News and Update 上可以找到新的方案。

哎，ILR被拒，5月TIER 1 EXTENSION又诸多变化，不好混啊。
费用提高到1500，存款要900，英语成绩还得必须有一个english test，貌似本科和研究生学位不能算进passing english language test了？

From 6 April 2012 we will be removing the provision for applicants in the UK to apply for permission to stay here (known as leave to remain) before they have taken or received the results of an English language test. This policy applies to applicants applying under Tier 1 (General), Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) and Tier 2 of the points-based system.
The concession was put in place when the English language requirement was introduced to allow migrants to make a visa application for leave to remain before they had taken an English language test or received the results at a time when availability of tests was not known.
Since the initial introduction of the English language requirement, English Llnguage test availability has increased and test providers have increased availability in-line with demand. Migrants should now be able to take a test in good time before needing to make a leave to remain application.
Applicants will continue to be able to take advantage of the concession for visa applications received up to and including 6 April 2012. Visa applications made after 6 April 2012 must be accompanied with evidence that applicants have passed an approved English language test.
没有这回事，拥有 UK Degrees 依然符合这方面的英语要求。

那还好，那我2011年9月考是life in uk test certificate，不知道2014年5月申请ILR的时候是否还有效？
Life in the UK 是一定需要考的，目前官方的说法是不会过期的。
我现在还在写信给UKBA reconsider我的case，信还没寄，这个月底之前准备寄出做最后一搏
请问关于T1 的DEPENDANT 的 MAINTENANCE FOUND：是MAIN APPLICANT 的银行帐户上显示有：900 + 600 镑
还是：我的帐户上要有 900 但我的DEPENDANT 的帐户上必须有600 镑？
请指点下。
