恭喜你，我在等护照回来，我提前了三个月续，担心凑不够五年，请问你续签是给几年的？
2年，我没有这个问题，之前还有1年多的工签，明年就够5年了。
是不是你公司把你的cos只写两年。现在的续签都是给3年的。

of leave was in one of the categories below:
Tier 2 before 6 April 2011 (Not including Intra-
Company Transfer); or
Work Permit Holder (Business and
Commercial or Sports and Entertainment);
Jewish Agency Employee;
Member of the Operational Ground Staff of an
Overseas-owned Airline;
Minister of Religion;
Missionary;
Member of a Religious Order; or
Representative of an Overseas Newspaper,
News Agency or Broadcasting Organisation.
We will always calculate the leave to remain
grant period from the start date given on your
Certificate of Sponsorship.
This will be:
i. 3 years plus 14 days; or
ii. to the end date given on your Certificate
of Sponsorship plus 14 days
whichever is the shorter period.

公司是7月初开始申请COS的，挺快就下来了，还以为不会那么快，我是正好提前了4周寄走的。

恭喜恭喜！可不可以告诉我一下，老板的那个cos是在续签前要重新申请的吗？我老板的是2010年给的，给了4年，到2014年，那我明年4月份续签，他还要重新申请吗？我有点儿糊涂啦。我续签时也要把cos一同寄走吗？盼答复，谢啦！
公司的License过期或者被吊销，所有Tier2签证的员工的签证马上作废。
这跟学校的license一样的，伦敦那个学校的学生不就是那样原因，要马上换学校。
你老板的是License，不是COS。2014年你公司的License过期前要再申请，不用跟你的Visa同时续的。

好像现在在网上申请，处理得特别快
I applied online on 21 July
Got the invitation letter for finger prints etc on 31 July
Went to post office and got the biometric information recorded on 3 Aug
and then no news at all after that…
More than 8 weeks so far!
Called the contact telephone number and was told to wait patiently until January next year.
it’s all about luck I would say. They must have thrown my documents to the corners.
