朋友是五年的Tier2 , 已经两年半了,还有两年半,问题是现在新的规定是不是每年不能离开英国六个月? 我朋友经常出差,现在两年半已经出差8各月了,不知道到时候申请永居是如何计算的? 如果公司可以开具出差的证明,是不是离开的日期就不算是离境呢?

每年离境不可以超过180天。出差的时间也算是离境。
我没记错的话，12年版的continuous leave的定义写了出差是不算leave的，但13年之后的版本就把这句话删了，
所以个人看法是还是可以按12年旧的思路来的，你把5年continuous leave的文件仔细看一下

只有每年不超过180天的要求，没有5年不超过540天这种要求，您应该是把10年永居的总离境时间限制跟这个混淆了。
另外楼楼上提出的关于出差时间算不算离境（absence），官方目前的文件有很明确的说法。

No more than 180 whole days absence are allowed in any of the five, four, three or two
consecutive 12 month periods, depending on the category, preceding the date of the
application for indefinite leave to remain (ILR).
这句话是指5年内累计不超过180天，
还是任何一年不超过180天呢？也就是说，如果每年离开179年，5年共离开895天，这样行不行呢？
而下面所说的break，也只是说一年内超过180天算break continuity，
没说每年179天，5年共895天这种算不算break continuity
Absences of more than 180 days in each consecutive 12 month period before the date of
application (in all categories) will mean the continuous period has been broken
Absences of more than 180 days in any 12 month period for employment or economic
activity reasons are not considered exceptional.
都写的这么清楚了，每年不能超过180天。也就是说每年179天，不算break continuity。“any of the five, four, three…” 留意是any of 啊。。。。。。你后面再引用的那句也都说了each consecutive 12 months，是each啊。。。。。。。
从英文来说，我觉得是每年不超过180天即满足要求，
也就是说就算是每年179天，每年如此，5年离境795天也算满足continuity的，
但从逻辑来看，觉得5年离境795天也算满足continuity好像有点不符合逻辑，
所以，我又重新看这一句：
No more than 180 whole days absence are allowed in any of the five, four, three or two consecutive 12 month periods
只看in the five consecutive 12 months period，我又觉得好像是说5年总共离境不超过180天，但毕竟母语不是英语，不是很肯定
这里没有任何不符合逻辑。。。T2G跟T1E和T1I在ILR申请的Absence限制上是一样的。。。真的没必要疑神疑鬼。。。而且你怎么能在理解语句的时候活生生的把人家“any of”这个字眼从原话里面马赛克掉了？？把不应该马赛克的地方马赛克了肯定会引起误会啊！！
