如果在tier4下拿到学位，之后转tier2。是不是不受Quota的限制？理论上公司想sponsor多少个就能sponsor多少个？

现在似乎需要吧？不确定，但psw不用，等明年4月psw取消后，t4转t2不需要cos，预计从今年4月份开始新的t2没有5年pr了，想留下来就要通过别的route找了。

不知道你是怎么理解的。也许可以说不要cos，但是要找到工作才可以转Tier2。而雇主如果看到你没有工作签证，可能根本不给Offer。

我只是就policy字面说话，至于你的point，我当初一听说改革的内容就想到了，基本上只有在学生签证最后的那4个月可以来找工作，因为之前都很难full-time，就和澳洲的某些移民政策差不多（没工作就没经验，没经验就不能pr，没pr就很难找到工作），就是一死循环，环境就是这样，选民要求砍移民数量，政府就要听，否则下次人家不选你。英国的open door算是逐渐double lock down了。:frowning:

但是home office的网站上是这样说的啊。Tier4毕业以后应该算第3类吧，只是不能免The resident labour market test（这个test明年4月以后可以免了）。

There is no restriction on the number of Tier 2 (General) certificates of sponsorship that can be assigned for migrant who:

  1. are coming from abroad to take jobs with an annual salary of £150,000 or more;
  2. are already in the UK under Tier 2 (General) or with a work permit, and want to extend their permission to stay (which they applied for before 6 April 2011) so that they can continue working with the same sponsor or take a new job with a different sponsor;
    and
  3. are already in the UK in another immigration category and are eligible to switch into Tier 2 (General).

是的，从今年4月开始，在英国境内从学生签证等其他类型签证转到工作签证，不需要受名额限制的CoS。

不需要等明年4月，这个不受限制的CoS已经开始实施了。

现在的情况是：

PSW签证持有者的，在该雇主连续工作6个月后可以申请COS，不受其他要求限制（比方说短缺职位，本地劳工市场调查等），

但雇主本身还有COS数目限制的，如果雇主资质有限，分配给他COS已经用完，也没办法帮你申请下来。

不清楚,这个TIER2申请是否需要之前TIER4的学业完成 (比如说还没答辩),毕竟是从学生转换到工作,是否得证明那之前读的课程结束 ?
