A start-up investment firm has a short-term unpaid internship opportunity.
The main responsibility is to set up Excel-based tools to organise and chart a number of datasets, which are in tabular format and released by government agencies or private companies mostly on a weekly/monthly basis. It is envisaged that the tools will allow quick and reliable data update, will reorganise the dataset in individual tables for different variables with corresponding seasonal charts. The work is expected to take about 1-1.5 months with ~8hr/week required. Further opportunities might be available depending on progress.
You will work from home with your own computer and Excel software and communicate via video calls (Skype) and emails. Your are expected to be proactive, very proficient in Excel, and pay good attention to details. Knowledge in statistics/econometrics will be a big plus.
Really sorry for the fact that this is an UNPAID position. However, you will have opportunity to learn the targeted market, and to some extent, to learn trading/investment.
