不同类型求职信简析
市面上一共有几种不同类型的求职信，这些包括给公司的求职信(Letters to Employers)猎头公司的求职信 (Letters to Recruitment Agencies)回应招聘广告的求职信 (Advertising Response Letters)以及Networking Cover Letters。不同类型的求职信在准备的时候需要注意的点不完全一样， 但是基本原则却是相通的。
制作上等求职信基本原则
• 第一原则：无语法错误
• 第二原则：用正确的格式来展示自己的才能，请参阅iFuture求职信范例
• 第三原则：长度控制在一页之内
• 要点：要注意公司所需要的技能；不要用同一份求职信来申请所有的工作
对于大部分在英留学的学生来说，最相关应该是给公司的求职信。因此这里主要还是集中在给大家介绍这类型的求职信。那么如何开始准备呢？先调查研究所申请的职位&公司的基本信息以及公司的竞争对手。
在大家下笔之前，请尝试回答以下几个问题：
• 设想如果要成功做好拟申请的这个职位，日常需要解决的问题有哪些呢？
• 那么哪些相关的行业知识以及技能能帮助你成功地解决这份工作平时所面临的问题呢？
• 你自己平时的学习、工作及课外活动过程中有运用过这些相关的行业知识以及技能吗？
• 你能否很客观有逻辑性的列出能证明你拥有这些知识以及技能的证据？
• 如果没有，你有尝试去寻找不同的方式来积累这些相关的行业知识以及技能呢？
• 分析拥有什么样的个性特点以及品质能够更好地帮助你做好你打算申请的这份工作吗？
• 试问这些所需要的个性特点以及品质，你拥有哪几项呢？
• 你有什么例子可以用来描述你拥有这些个性品质吗？
做好这些准备以后，接下来的问题要考虑就是求职信的长度、格式。长度一般再2/3 页到一页。不要短过半页，也不要长过一页。具体的格式及每段的内容，请参见后面的iFuture求职信模板来写。对于没有任何经验的同学来说，我这里还列举了几个成功获得大公司面试机会的求职信供大家参考。
当你写完了求职信，别忘了再检查一遍以保证无语法错误。还有让你的朋友、现在或者曾经在这家公司工作的人员、或者是专业人士来帮你阅读一遍，这样可以进一步确保你不至于写得太保守而没有体现出自己最佳的一面也不会写得过于浮夸。你的求职信要让读你这封信的人Feel that you are the right person for the job!

First Paragraph
Tell the recruiter who you are, what are you doing at the moment and what position you are interested in.
Second Paragraph
Tell them why you are interested in the particular industry and also briefly tell them your understanding about the particular industry. Then you need to tell them why you are interested in working for them and why you choose the particular division. Please don’t forget to mention what benefit you will have if you have opportunity to work for them.
Third Paragraph
Now, it’s time for you to convince them why they should hire you. So what you need to do here is to check from the company website what qualities they are after for this particular role. Based on your own strength and development areas, you need to tell them what qualities you have got for them and why they should hire you. You can use some examples to help convince them. If you lack of certain quality which is essential to do this job well and you really want to work for them, then try to mention how you try to improve yourself in this area. At the end, add 1-2 sentences to summaries your statement.
