Do not buy fake insurance anymore, now the law have change. They will check your driving licence with your name and date of birth and address to make sure all are real. If one is not real then they will take your car away.

Your insurance is probably fake, heard too many case like this that people con chinese student money and give them fake insurance.
If someone can do it for you very cheap, it is probably fake. Now all you can do is buy a week insurance to take your car back asap first and then buy a proper insurance. I know a company in london can do it for chinese student, I can send you his contact and you deal with them directly if you need.
虽然这么说有点狠，但是，答案是：买不起保险就不要买这么好的车。这次也许别人帮你提出来车了，以后警察查到照样拖。。。警察拖车是小事，如果你真正出事了，到时候你哭都来不及。还是规规矩矩的来吧，对大家都好。

30k??a re you kidding me? Try to find one on gocompare or moneysuppermarket. You should be able to get few cheaper quotes.

买车容易 养车难。买车之前就要做好各种花钱养车的准备，养不起车还是不要装了

不一定需要你的保险才能提车，你可以让朋友买了这车的保险。他去把车提回来。
他去警察局出示他的保险和驾照也可以把车开走。
