是吗? 我觉得大牛你的CASE关键在于你离开英国时是不是还有valid的leave to remain, 象你所说的如果仍有上诉权的话, 仍然是受3D保护滴, 你看看永居指导文件的第27页, 如果这成立, 就是离开时有leave to remain, 回来时也有visa, 中间的天数就只算是absence了. 我个人认为是这样的…如果离开时已经不受3D保护的话, 那GAP就比较长了.
UKBA is bullshiting. Its website clearly states that borrow passport back will not withdraw/accelerate your application process, and I have called them to further confirm this. Also, when you fill “return of docs request”,there should be a question ask “if you want to withdraw your application”, just fill "No.

3 月27号寄出 。4月3号划钱。4月4号homeoffice寄出确认信。4月8号homeoffice寄出指纹信。4月16号去邮局取完指纹。现在等待中。。。。。感觉现在homeoffice 工作效率很高。。。中间有个复活节假期还能如此快的收到回信。。。。希望很快收到最后结果。。。

就象你的护照和驾照上面也有valid date的, 但并不是说你到时需要重要申请visa, 而是因为10年后你的相貌等变了需要重新换一张卡而已, 不用担心…
