我刚拿永居，想咨询关于入英国国籍上的问题。例如，什么时候才够资格入籍？入籍需要什么要求，有没有规定入籍前出境时间和限制？
能提供关于这方面资料吗？

刚刚看了UKBA网站，原来入籍，还有出境时间限制？？？？ 过去五年，总出境日期不能超450天？？？
There are seven requirements you need to meet before you apply:

- You must be of sound mind.
- You must intend to continue living in the UK, or to continue in Crown service, the service of an international organisation of which the UK is a member, or the service of a company or association established in the UK.

Residential requirements
To demonstrate the residential requirements for naturalisation, you must have:

- not spent more than 90 days outside the UK in the last 12 months of the five-year period; and
- not been in breach of the Immigration Rules at any stage during the five-year period.

看了UKBA网站，不太懂入籍要求，
我刚拿永居，难道立刻就可以申请，还是要再等五年?
如果你不是英籍人士的配偶，入籍要求请看这里：
最基本的就是：
1.需要连续居英5年，这五年里面最后12个月是永居身份；（你10年换永居的最后4年所以已经可以算入5年要求里，拿着永居在英国再待一年就符合居英时间要求）
2.且5年里总出境日期不得超过450天，最后12个月不得超过90天；
3.递交申请之日的5年前在英国境内。
我觉得奇怪得是，UKBA只是说连续居住5年，但是没有说一定是永居，或者其他签证。难道是学生签证都可以？
是的，就是在递交申请的时候已经在英国生活满5年了
有要求呀，就在那个网页，下边不是写了：You must be free from immigration time restrictions when you apply for naturalisation. Unless you are married to or the civil partner of a British citizen, you should have been free from immigration time restrictions during the last 12 months of the residential qualifying period. 然后再明确的提示，这个’free from immigration time restrictions’就是要理解为：you have indefinite leave to enter or remain or no time limit on your stay。这个就是明确的说这连续5年时间里，最后12个月需要有永居身份。
原来是这个意思，我就是不明白什么叫free from immigration time。这一下我就全明白了。
这个所谓的naturalisation, 是不是就是我们所说的入籍啊？
确切的讲是归化入籍，因为英国国籍的取得有两种，一种是归化(Naturalisation),另外一种是注册(Registration).不过注册这种途径这个一般和中国人无关。说白了，这个注册就是因为英国国籍法历史遗留问题多，各种海外公民、属地公民复杂的很，是为了对付这些问题而设立的途径。如果是中国人，一般都是走归化的道路。
虽然，我离永居还很久很久，出于好奇，对于这个条件，我很不解

这岂不是搞的和永居一样，不能离开英国太久，不能拿到英籍后回国或去其他地方定居吗？
我感觉吧，人家只是那样规定而已，并不是你要不打算长呆就不给你，当然你不能那么说！你拿到手了那就是你自由了！明白不？

我一个朋友是工作签刚拿到永居，去年跟一个英国籍的女华人结婚。那么他是否要等12个月呢？可以现在就入籍吗？（是工作签拿到永居不是结婚签）谢谢
如果配偶是英国籍的，那么只要在提交入籍申请的时候已经居英不少于3年，和同时拥有永居资格就可以了。不用等拿到永居12个月以后在申请的。

Immigration time restrictions
You must be free from immigration time restrictions on the day you make your application. This often means having already gained settled status before you make your citizenship application. How and when you are eligible for settled status will depend on the immigration category you were in and successfully meeting its requirements for indefinite leave to enter or remain. For example spouses and civil partners of British citizens who must complete a 5 year probationary period under Appendix FM would generally have the opportunity to apply for naturalisation on this basis once they complete the 5 year period and obtain indefinite leave to remain provided they can also meet the other requirements of naturalisation at that time.
