请教大家一个问题：我2008年8月-2010年1月是学生签证，2010年2月–2012年2月是PSW签证，2012年2月–2014年2月是SPOUSE VISA。也就是说我在英国已经有呆满5年。现在SPOUSE VISA马上要到期了，我是需要先申请永居呢，还是可以直接申请入籍？入籍与永居的申请条件和难度有差别吗？

谢谢，我有看网站的，说是在英国满五年或是结婚签证满三年就可以直接申请入籍，可是我想确认一下自己的理解是否正确，因为周边的朋友好像全都是先申请永居然后再申请入籍的，我不知道是否一定要先申请永居才可以，希望有此经验的朋友给予意见，谢谢。
Immigration time restrictions
You must be free from immigration time restrictions when you apply for naturalisation. Unless you are married to or the civil partner of a British citizen, you should have been free from immigration time restrictions during the last 12 months of the residential qualifying period.
If you are free from immigration time restrictions, there will probably be a stamp or sticker in your passport saying that you have indefinite leave to enter or remain or no time limit on your stay.
必须要先申请PR，拿到以后才算是free from immigration control，然后根据情况才可以入籍。
home office向来都是越来越greedy，越多的beuracracy就有越多的银子收，对英国人是这样，更不用说没有任何话语权的foreigners 了。。。
lz的配偶是英国人的话，拿到PR卡的当天就可以申请入籍。
谢谢你，我先生是英国人。一定要先申请PR吗，还是可以直接申请BRITISH CITIZENSHIP？ 先申请PR，再申请入籍得要两次的费用，两次的等待总归是比较麻烦的。还是说有PR以后申请入籍的程序不同？
