if your company financial year ending is not the same date for companies house, you are likely to have two different accounts.

For the small companies (eg. sales under £6.5million) need to file the Abbreviated Accounts with the Companies House, deadline is 9 calendar months after Year Ended date; need to file the Full Accounts and Corporation Tax computation (CT600) to the HMRC, deadline is 12 calendar months after Year Ended date.
