Freeholder’s notice of transfer: you notify the freeholder you bought the property, so the freeholder charge you a fee for your notice.
Mortgage fee: you notify the freeholder you bought the property using a mortgage, the freeholder charge you a fee for your notice.
Thanks, but i am wondering if this cost is reasonable and why my solicitor never mentioned the deed of covenant fee must be paid to the freeholder before. i know the lanlord will charge the fee for changing the owner’s name, thought all these fee already included in previous statement.
also the notice of transfer fee, 160 more than expected…
