我这么给你说吧。

我做工就是为了挣钱，收不上来钱是我最上火的事情。

但是如果我有把握，能按时做完，和做完后没有质量问题，你晚付早付钱问题不大，我不太害怕。

当然建筑业达不到我锅炉行业这样的满意程度。

但是如果一个工头超乎寻常的跟你要钱的话，就要小心了。

明白了。
我这个builder还好啦, 之前给他的装修项目, 他都是做完之前一天确认价钱, 没有加过价。 完了我都会在他做完的那天下午6点之前检查完把钱送到他手上, 一定不会晚。我和这群师傅关系好, 不知道是不是和我不迟到, 不乱砍价, 按时付款, 不轻易改主意, 而且尽量替他们想满足他们要求有关。他们现在都爱和我嘻嘻哈哈, 而且会很主动地汇报情况。 {:5_136:} 会不会是觉得我好骗? {:5_133:}

只要他不提过分的要求, 我不想跟他算得那么细。他deposit其实只收6%, 而且是开工两天以后交。
Work schedule和payment schedule这两天他会做好发给我。我看看差不太多就行吧。据我对他的了解, 他会希望在每周五下午之前收到钱吧 - 他需要给工人付工资。。。
不都说, 与人方便自己方便, 疑人不用用人不疑。。。

这是另一个可能会导致超支的问题:
看见窗变形的没有?
我们看房的时候没注意, 连structual report里面都没提到啊???

一早email了surveyer, 你们觉得他会不鸟我呢, 还是不鸟我呢, 还是不鸟我呢? {:5_134:}

窗子是十年前装的, guarantee早已无效。
This could just be badly fitted, or it could open up all sorts of worms…
What do you guys think?

不是大牛，但是如果想换，就换吧，有点歪

关键是, 很有可能不仅仅是换窗户的问题。
如果是只是装歪了, 换个窗户几百块钱没事儿的。
但如果是structual support不够多年下来被屋顶的重量压歪的, 就很可怕了。。。
这就是为什么要回头去找structual surveyer。这样的问题他应该要提到的。
Report里是这样写的:
To the front bay window there are UPVc encased strengthened mullions to the bay
corners to provide the required support to the upper bay window structure. The supports
appear adequate as no signs of deflection were noted to the mullion supports or any
movements to the bay window structure.
The windows were randomly tested and where tested were noted to operate
satisfactorily.

肯定会超, 因为做预算的时候不可能把所有的东西都考虑进去。但这些都是额外的工作, 和builder坐地起价不一样。

今天的任务:
约见gardener讨论修花园的方案 (买瓶酒祝贺他新婚)。/He loved the wine haha! Cut the front hedges for us for £15! And he liked my garden plan!
给decorator带扫帚。。。/done. Also sweeped the house.
重新测量墙的宽度(now that lining paper is on) /done
逛local flooring shop /done and sent floor plan to the shop to quote
拿flooring sample给kitchen designer过目, 顺便clarify extractor fan ducting的问题, 督促他和我builder联系。/done
去F&B买paint sample /done - confirmed appointment with color consultant
给shutter company转钱, email /done
Review budget /This is rather depressing
明天的任务:
整理要去ikea买的东西的清单/这个留到下周, 不急。
想办法安抚neighbours。。。我不会做小点心啊求支招 {:5_136:} /done。一家一盒巧克力, 一张贺卡, 下周一送过去。

谢啦。
There’s good news and bad news.
好消息是, 新的steel drawings已经通过building regs approval。
坏消息是, building surveyor回复我说窗户的问题他做survey的时候没有, 可能是后来出现的所以他不管。。。气死我了撒谎也不带这样的! 窗装了有10年了好伐??!!! 这么久都没问题偏偏你做完survey以后它突然就歪啦??!!!
今天早上已经在property onbudsman service那里open了case, 并把相应的材料都发过去了。之后所有和那个窗户有关的工作, 我都会保留好书面证据。Institute of charted surveyors, small claims court, 咱们慢慢耗, 敢敷衍我不想混了 {:5_131:} {:5_131:} {:5_131:} !!!
