跟药房说明，会给张表填一下，药还是免费的，卡大概一个礼拜能收到吧

I didn’t have one because I was registered in Wales. But when I moved to England and needed to get some prescribed medicine, the lady at the counter only asked if I was valid for exemption (at the time my LO was already a few months old). If yes, tick the box. She said if I lied I would get a fine. But I never heard anything back since.
没有Paid的处方会被抽查到的。我就收到过一张FINE, 但是是在我怀孕期间的处方单，因为我exemption card上的valid日期和我孕期不完全吻合， 也就是我申请迟了，象其它MM一样10周12周之后才想起去申请， 所以在我孕期内的一张单我理所当然的以为不需要 PAY，但收到罚单了， 我电话去解释后他们收我处方的钱8镑多， 但FINE的钱40多镑不用给。

Yes, she did say I might be checked, but didn’t say anything about chance. In Wales, they don’t give you a card; you only need to show your MAT B1 form (can be copied; the prescription is free for everyone anyway). So when I moved to England as a temporary resident, I didn’t have a card to prove.
Don’t think it’s very strict in Wales. I went to see my dentist this March, and mentioned I have a 10-month old son when chatting. He gave me free NHS treatment straightaway (but only one-off). I am a private patient.
England估计严点哈哈。。。但有VALID的exemption card 只要是在有效期内不出示也没事， 只要在相应选项后打勾就行。
