孩子申请英国国籍

大家好， 想向大家请教一个问题。

本人最近申请到了永居，妻子还是学生签证。根据官网
Your parent has become a British citizen or settled since your birth
You can register to become a British citizen if you fulfil all of the criteria:

you were born in the UK on or after 1 January 1983
you’re under 18 when you apply
one of your parents has become a British citizen or settled in the UK since you were born

想给孩子申请英国国籍。 孩子是在我拿到永居前出生的。

但是有朋友提醒说，这是有概率问题， 不一定能申请到英国国籍，还是要等到夫妻双方共同拿到永居才可以。请问确实有这样的情况吗？

请问LZ最后给宝宝申请了吗？都需要什么材料呀？

MN1 form，大人护照，永居卡，小孩护照，出生证，结婚证。如果用local council的nationality checking services的话，他们会检查所有材料（大人的护照不用寄走）。

同时还可以申请小孩的英国护照。

孩子是出生在UK吗？ 还是中国啊？

不管在哪出生，只要父母一方有英国国籍就可以申请入籍

请问一下 你给孩子申请永居了吗？ 如果没有那么在NM1表格的1.3 问题怎么回答（如下） Please say if and when the child was given indefinite leave to enter/remain in the UK. 谢谢！ 另外想问一下，NM1应该是申请注册入籍，也就是说申请成功就意味着入籍成功，会自动还收到护照吗？ 谢谢

这个问题难道不是问你的小孩有没有永居么？ 如果已经拿到永居卡，那就把拿到永居的时间写上

孩子在英国出生，父母只要有一方拿到永居孩子可以立即申请加入英国国籍。
