楼主和老公俩人去年花了整整一年做了个英格兰买房租房选区推荐网站，做的时候就经常有朋友问，“你们数据哪里来的？跟谁买的吗？”，然后发现很多人并不知道英国政府从2010年开始就很努力开放政府公共数据，政府本身做了不少网站方便个人查询，还催生了很多初创公司。
我最近正好要给自己网站做宣传，干脆写了个地区质量各类指标查询网站合集的blog：

List里的第四个smartpostcode.co.uk是我自己的网站，根据个人预算，上班地址，对社区环境各类指标偏好推荐合适区域。总而言之是个买房租房花的钱价值最大化问题。我就是因为自己选区选得头痛才决定和老公做这个项目的。

PS：有两个论坛里提得比较多的网站我没收录进去。一个是illustreets， 一个是RealMy。 illustreets算是元老级的网站，但这个网站最近重点卖软件去了，几个dashboard都属于样本项目，个人觉得要么不实用，要么有点misleading，没有加进来。RealMy这个网站我之前不知道，逛论坛发现的。这个网站我个人很喜欢，特别是包含投资收益这个指标。不过免费数据只开放到Borough级别，对于选区来说，基本没用，有用的数据得买会员，就也没加进来……
