收到护照啦，一共才一个礼拜多一点，好快啊
我的照片确认人只是普通同事，认识两年以上 :grinning:

3月19日更新
3月13号那天网上申请了护照，网上申请比去邮局要便宜些，而且不用出门照相，只要照着官网要求自己照就好了。
按照官网，先回答了几个简单问题，然后上传照片，只有填入个人信息，提交信息。然后找人确认照片，最后邮寄所需文件原件，之后就是等待了。。。
我找的确认照片的人就是以前的同事，认识两年以上。。。

周末时官网出了点问题，直到周一15号我前同事才帮我确认完照片。现在申请护照还有免费的邮件和短信提示服务，一确认完照片，我马上收到提示让我去寄文件。周一寄完周三收到短信说文件收到，现在就是等。。。
反正周一去了邮局，我就顺便把永居卡也寄回了。很奇怪，我没记得宣誓时给告知要寄回，与证书一起收到的文件中也没提到这件事，或许现在不需要了？

2021年3月11日更新
刚收到certificate of naturalisation啦！下一步，申请护照 :smiley:
3月9号那天进行的网上宣誓，说是半个小时，实际上也就十多分钟吧。挺简单的，把邀请函和身份证明文件给人看一下，然后跟着读就好了，终于不用再申请签证了:rofl:

今天收到了special delivery ，有个文件夹，一个帆布袋，居然还有只笔，挺贴心的嘛

对了，是不是要交回永居卡啊，我在文件夹里看了半天，也没看到要求我交回永居卡的信息。。。

2021年2月13号更新，下午刚收到两封信件，一封是home office，说application for British citizenship has been approved. 然后要我联系当地authority订入籍宣誓。
另一封信直接就是Hampshire County Council 发来的，说他们收到了HO的通知，直接帮我订好了入籍宣誓，难得看到政府办事效率这么快:open_mouth: 虽然已经订到三月份了

从收到批准到邀请函，快到三个月，比我想象中要快 :grin:

不过要等邀请函，由于疫情，会延迟。。。好吧，继续等

9月18号更新，上午去按了指纹，照了相，只看了护照原件和预约的纸，其他啥都没看
看看多久能等到确认信件

刚在网上递交了申请入籍的表格，想预约指纹，但是所有地点所有9月时间段的预约都满了，啥也约不到。看到隔壁的帖子，大家都这样。唉，早知道应该在5月份刚拿到永居时就申请

递交表格时好像看到需要在11月初预约指纹，当时信息一闪，没仔细看就跳到下一步，希望能尽快刷到预约

来这里记录一下，因为填入籍表格时，里面要求填写以前申请签证的日期啥的，发觉我在这里都发过，填表时都用上了，所以这次也来记录一下:cn13:

不是永居一年后才能入籍的吗？

如果是配偶签 5年到了拿完永居可以直接申请入籍。

我有朋友收到签证中心的信说现在因为新冠签证中心都关门了，需要一个app来采集数据之后沿用以前的bio data，也就是这几天的事，怎么和楼主这个不一样呢？

配偶签也不同，只有配偶是英籍，才可以拿到永居直接申请入籍，否则还是要等一年

我递交了申请表，交了钱后（1349.2英镑，真是黑），就给我链接去预约，不过所有的地点都是满的。。。

我要在11月5号之前预约并上传文件，可是现在预约放出来的时间已经出到十月中旬了，还是啥都订不到，怎么办啊

又查了下，8月28后递交申请的，现在不能预约。。。唉，好慢啊
Registered with UKVCAS in August or September
If UKVCAS received your application on or after 28 August 2020, you won’t be able to book an appointment at the moment. This is because UKVI are assessing which customers are eligible for biometric reuse and the IDV app.

For those of you who applied between 15 – 28 August 2020, we will be sending you an email to outline next steps. This will let you know if you are eligible to use the IDV app or whether you need to book a UKVCAS appointment.

Watch out for an email called; ‘UKVCAS - book an appointment now’ by 3 September 2020.

If you are eligible for the IDV app, the email will be called; ‘Introducing the UKVCAS IDV app’ and will have instructions for next steps. These emails will be sent by 6 September 2020.

For customers who applied from 28 August 2020, we will be in touch as soon as possible after UKVI update us about your application.

Please note, all emails will be sent to your UKVCAS registered email address. Please check your junk folder and/or with the person who registered your application.

嗯，预约好了，下周五南安普顿的。下周除了周末都有空位，不过前面的几天剩下的slot时间都不太合适我，而且都是一百三十多块的。我选了周五上午，69.99英镑

Upload your documents
You must upload your supporting documents online before your appointment, and you must bring your original supporting documents with you to your appointment.

We have introduced the option to submit your uploaded documents to UKVI before your appointment takes place. This option will be available on the Document upload page until 48 hours before your appointment.

To make your visit to our Service Point as smooth as possible, it is recommended you upload your documents via the self-upload facility. You can upload documents in stages right up until you attend your appointment, making it easy and convenient. When uploading your documents, there are some easy to follow guidelines set out below to ensure you are successful:

Document type: On completing your online application with UKVI you will have received an Access UK checklist specifying the documents required for your application. The documents are marked as either mandatory or other documents. A description of the mandatory documents required for each category is provided in the tabs below.

Category: Your supporting documents need to be submitted under the recommended categories. Our upload facility allows for this and having the right documents in the right category will make your documents easier to find and review, so we suggest that you organise and upload your supporting documents in the correct categories.

File Format: Please upload documents in PDF (preferred), JPEG and PNG format.

File Name: needs to be as simple as possible e.g. bank-statement-Apr-2018.pdf Do not upload files with file names having special characters, #,ë, or bank.statement.apr.2018.pdf

File Size: each uploaded document has a file size limit of 6MB. Uploading larger files will result in your documents being rejected, so please ensure the file is as small as possible and not more than 6 MB. If your document is over 6 MB please separate it into parts and create separate files to upload. There is no limit on the number of documents/files you can upload.

Scan in Greyscale or Black and white: To help contain the files size to 6MB please scan in ‘Greyscale’ or ‘Black and white’ and not in ‘Colour’. It is also helpful to keep the resolution between 150 dpi (dots per inch) to 300 dpi. This can be achieved by configuring your device by the available ‘Settings’ option, that allows you to choose the file format, colour and the dpi resolution. With this approach, you will be able to scan up to 50 pages per document within the allowed 6 MB limit.

Password: Please do not upload password protected files as the caseworker will not be able to open them for assessment and therefore your application may be delayed
