大家好，想请教一个问题。当年博士毕业申请了T4 doctoral extension scheme，我老婆也跟着申请了对应的陪读签证。 后来我很快找到提供工签的工作，我就先换T2, 而我老婆是等T4 doctoral extension scheme 陪读签证 结束前换成了陪工签证(签证政策是允许的).
现在问题是 我现在可以申请工签转永居了，我老婆能跟我一起申请吗？ 看最新的文件感觉是可以但是又没有说的很清楚。

按照我自己的理解應該是不行的， 只有 T2, T1, Representative of an Overseas Business

不行的，只有T1和T2的dependent可以累加，T4不行，你老婆可以继续拿T2 dependent，等到五年换。

我也在和我老公研究这个 但是你看官网关于Family Member的叙述 好像是只要合法住在英国五年就行 没有说明一定要什么签证 你再看看？

Your partner and children under 18 can apply on the same form as you if they’re eligible.

Your partner may qualify if all of the following apply:
- they have permission to be in the UK as your partner
*** they’ve been living in the UK with you for at least 2 years if they applied before 9 July 2012 or 5 years if they applied on or after 9 July 2012** - your relationship is genuine
- you intend to continue living together
- you have enough income to support yourselves and your dependants
- you’re not using public funds
They must:
- pass the Life in the UK Test
- meet the English language requirements
需要同一个签证类型才行，原来的T1和T2可以累加，T4不可以，不是一个类型的。我去年刚刚办过，必须等T2拿满5年。
