Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Job Location: London, UK
Status: full-time, 12-month contract
Eligibility to work in the UK: no work/visa restrictions
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for all IT issues related to the Internal service of our client
- Strong understanding of Mac + Win
- Communicate effectively on IT specific issues
- Perform system testing in a development environment
- Decent Knowledge with G Suite
- Engage with Global IT and Corporate IT teams to ensure IT service.
- Identify and communicate possible IT process improvements
- Escalate issues where necessary to relevant local or global departments
- Review technical documentation providing input where necessary
- Execute System related Installation/Operational Qualification and Validation
- Work individually or within a team to support and deliver project requirements
- Configure production line devices for Local and corporate networks and Database connections
- Capture and take ownership of issues in the Jira IT ticketing system where necessary, following through to resolution
- Perform machine imaging and Microsoft OS deployment
- Provide and document System User Access via Active Directory
- Manage IT Software backup inventory
- Provide support to IT colleagues on occasion when required for other IT related issues
- Communicate global system maintenance updates to production stakeholders and advise on necessary downtime
- Assess Production Level Data prior to deployment
- Support Microsoft Office Suite
- Good understanding of Network LAN and WAN
To be successful , you must have
- IT related degree and/or
- 2-4 years’ experience primarily in Mac + Win
- Demonstrated understanding of PC and Server hardware and system support in an enterprise
- environment. Self-starter with the ability to handle assigned tasks (including learning new
- technologies) with minimal supervision.
- Open to fresh graduate
- Fluent in Chinese is an advantage
- High proficiency in English, both spoken and written
