如题，租房中介说从现在起保险丝电箱必须使用金属材质，否则没法出具EICR证书？？？

那至少也应该是金属盒子外面再包一层塑料盒子，不然一触电直接就挂了
并不是所有塑料都易燃，金属箱子也不是那么容易触电只要接地良好并且有漏电保护。这得问做EICR test的人会告诉你

是要铁的材料，还要塑料圈mallet 覆盖电线穿出来的洞口
原因就是发生短路内部着火会缺氧然后熄灭，要是塑料的会烧的很猛烈。2016年装新电表的时候已经开始要求铁的。
就是想多骗你点钱
这样的话还是换了好啊
我的都换了，那时就200-400的工资加材料费用。有的就翻新的时候rewire也上了了新铁盒。
租房的法律责任越来越多，尽量符合新法规(landlord regulation ) 钱少了点烦恼少了点也是可以的。
要不然你再找找愿意出证书给塑料盒的电工？
Is it the law to have a Metal Consumer Unit
In short, No.
The electrical regulations are not law. However, some instances they are enforced as law. Such as the landlord regulations.
If you have an electrical report carried out and you have a plastic consumer unit it is still not a requirement to have an upgrade.
Plastic Consumer units are still in use, and will be for many years without issues.
今天quote了几个电工聊了聊。出租房出EICR是不需要金属电箱的，但是会给C3级别，加注更换金属电箱的改进建议。
根本没有那个必要，现在自住房几乎90%以上都是塑料的。也没啥安全问题。除非硬性规定出台，出租房不得不换，再换也不迟。
