我有个朋友是北京协和医科大学的整容学博士，现在已经在协和医院上班了。
她想到英国做医生，但不知道需要怎样的条件，是否需要继续读博士后？
据说英国这边不承认中国读的医科，是这样吗？
希望知道情况的同学给点意见呗？
应该是非常难的，需要经过许多手续，比如GMC，http://www.gmc-uk.org/doctors/registration_applications/img_nationals.asp 这个是一般doctor，就是full registration，要是想做cosmetic surgeon就要加入Specialist Register，而这个的前提是full registration，http://www.gmc-uk.org/doctors/registration_applications/specialist_registration.asp
EEA以外的都很难，语言要求也高，

曾遇到过non EEA过不了语言关的从而当不上doc的，也遇到过来自EEA所谓‘合格的’psychiatric consultant但语言日常交流都有障碍的。。。
总之想过来就要做好几乎从零开始的准备，费用不菲。。。

啊？ 如果过来重新读一个博士或继续深造一下呢 ？ 仍然需要以上的条件吗？
自己看上面的链接吧，nhs和GMC， 最好让他本人自己看吧，好对号入座，再说了，这些都是最基本的阅读能力。
要重新读个medical qualification的话也要看uni是否承认国内的医学本科或者研究生，这个要具体看那些uni了，网站上都应该有。
Just like the other’s reply. GMC Full reg is the first step. But without EU experience, his chance of getting in any hospital or private clinic is nearly 0. So he’ll have to start from low. Unless his experience in China is super impressive.
a PhD from UK uni doesn’t mean he can get into any hospital either, not to mention a phd from China.
plus, being a doctor in uk is a lot harder (in NHS for sure). on the other hand, doctor market is more than saturated here. too much, far too much Indian and east European doctors.
Currently, the tight immigration control here means it’s going to be difficult for him to even get a long term visa.
i’d suggest him, stay where he is or think about Australia and Canada (those Indians are already there since 2 years ago)

中国医科毕业，想来英国做临床医生，几乎是不可能。不说博士，就是教授级，也
不可能。如果运气好，可能可以找到一个研究性质的医生(多少也叫Doctor)的工作。
我的朋友(也是国内临床医科博士)，九十年代初来英国，来这，硕士，博士又读一
大串，从来没有放弃做医生的愿望，但就是找不到门。她在国内的同学已是博导了。
想当年，学二胡的也出国深造，太可笑了。
还是劝您的朋友，留在国内吧，别太盲目了。
但也有厉害的，我有意朋友，在新加坡花了八年的时间，取得了新加坡医生的执照。真佩
服!!
