之前申请访问学者签证的时候，就听说不能续签，但是版内有申请类似签证，续签过么，要不就得回国再签了，因为还得继续待一年！！
访问学者签证属于business visa里的一项吧，除了academic visa，其他business visa申请最长时间都只有半年
访问学者属于visitor类型的签证
不管要怎么续签，都是要回国申请的，英国境内是不能申请的
p.s. 签证还有分business还是academic的？我只知道分visitor还是settlement类型。就算有按LZ说的分法，student visitor怎么也算不成是business吧
谢谢你的回复，那就是所有访问签证都不能在英国续签了，转变签证类型可以么，也就是转成非访问签证
我的意思是访问签证分很多中，academic visa 是包含在busine visa里面的~~因为在移民局网站上所有关于academic visa都是在busine visa里面，我是这样理解的
续签和转签证都不行，要回国。
只要是visitor visa，不管续签，还是转签，都不能在英国境内申请

那移民局网站上这样一段话是神马意思呢，不是有合适的理由是可以续签的么
没有说有合理的理由就可以续签啊
