My new hobby started last summer. Met a lot of interesting people and earned a lot of random bruises. :smiley:
My second go at sports photography.

Safety first, we have a no helmet no downhill rides rule :smiley:
The technique we use to stop at high speed is called ‘sliding’ - that’s what most of them were doing in my pictures. Very much like snowboarding. :slight_smile:

Nice pictures! How do you focus on the subject?

Some of them I used auto-focus. I use a 80-200mm AF-s lens which has quite impressive auto focus speed.
But a lot of them, I set a focusing distance and take consecutive shots to get the perfect one. (Lens mounted on tripod)
