探亲签证改了12个月只能逗留180天的说法？

今天和朋友讨论探亲签证，本来还坚持就算是长期签证，一年也只能呆180天的说法
结果上ukba找证据的时候 居然发现之前during any 12 months period 这句话不见了！！！！

A short-term visit visa allows you to come to the UK for a maximum of 6 months (or a maximum of 12 months if you are accompanying an academic visitor).

A long-term visit visa is valid for 1, 2, 5 or 10 years. The application fee is higher than for a short-term visit visa.

If we grant you a long-term visit visa, you are allowed unlimited entry into the UK for the time that the visa is valid, but for a maximum of 6 months for each visit.

也就是说，每次入境再出境就可以再继续呆6个月？！例如去欧洲晃一圈之类的？！

貌似不太可能，不然一直签visitor，签个十年，每半年去欧洲晃几天，不就能申请永居了

我也同意楼上的说法，如果这样可行的话，岂不是签10年都可以永居了。

字面意思好象是说如果给你12个月的探亲签证,然后没有限制你随便出入,但是每次最多6个月,以前是说12个月中你最多呆6个月啊,有意思啊!{:5_143:}

其实从来没有明文规定说一年只能呆6个月，官方一直只是说建议，但是转一圈回来被拒绝入境的人不少，因为这个原因被拒签的也不少，你看最近苹果上有父母探亲拒签就是这个原因

藏去政策细则 41 (ii) 里很隐晦地说出来了。

抱歉，不行，在移民政策里41条第二点已经把这种 ‘事实上造成长期在英国居住’ 的情况给堵住了。

  1. The requirements to be met by a person seeking leave to enter the United Kingdom as a general visitor are that he:

(ii) intends to leave the United Kingdom at the end of the period of the visit as stated by him; and does not intend to live for extended periods in the United Kingdom through frequent or successive visits;

这最后的一个短语是关键。很模棱两可，很灵活，和12个月内不能超过6个月的硬性规定比起来涵盖的情况就更广更多了。

我朋友的父母来帮她带孩子，4月底她和父母一起回去，8月底他们又一起回来了，而且她跟我说之前也是有一次父母回去待了2周就又回来了，而且这一次五年的签证也拿下来了。

这很Confusion 的，咨询过国内英国签证处答复也是每次来不超过180天就可以了。至于你来几次没人管的，问题就在没人敢那么做阿，下次拒签怎么办…
另外如果看最新条例他还写了这么句话说一年内在常驻所在国家的天数不得少于在英国呆得天数…
